Please help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer.
Join us at the American Cancer Society 2017 Coaches vs Cancer Wisconsin Gala on Saturday, April 29, 2017, for a one-of-a-kind evening. With your support you will make a significant impact in eliminating cancer - ALL cancers - as a major health problem.
Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. This initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Since 1993, coaches have raised nearly $100 million for the ACS. Over nine years, Coaches vs. Cancer Wisconsin has raised $5.6 million and is the largest Coaches vs. Cancer program in the country! Currently, the American Cancer Society has $12.8 million invested in active cancer research at institutions throughout Wisconsin, with $8.2 million at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Carbone Cancer Center.
We hope to see you there!
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
